Another sign of progress for Fibrowatt in North Carolina: The Company announced that it has signed an agreement with Fagen, Inc. to handle the engineering and construction of its first biomass power plant in North Carolina. This agreement can be extended to cover all of the North Carolina projects proposed for Montgomery, Sampson, and Surry counties.

The agreement will help Fibrowatt move forward with its development process in North Carolina in anticipation of securing long-term power purchase agreements. This agreement also provides an opportunity to progress some of the preliminary design work necessary to support permitting.
